Spring 2009 Fashion Trends
This season offers something for everyone. Lots of prints, colours, a Grecian look and loads of embellishments for the upcoming season. Oversized flowers, stripes and abstract shapes have been added to tops and dresses. Oranges, reds, yellows and purples stand out. These pops of colour are mixed with a lot of neutral colours. Classic black and white looks are very strong.
Long dresses and off the shoulder looks have been inspired by a Grecian theme. Strapless dresses and blouses feature ruffled fronts. The back is the focus for most looks. Cuts are low and fun details have been added to draw focus. You will look as good going as you do coming in these outfits. Ruffles, beading, chains, texture and femininity add to the season. Hemlines sit above the knee for daytime and long, flowy gowns for the evening. The shorts and bubble skirts all expose a little bit of leg. Pants are being shown in a slender silhouette to accentuate the body.
If you only buy a few new pieces this season we suggest you pick up a pair of shorts, a printed skirt or dress and a detailed blouse.
