Native New Yorker Pamela Love began making jewelry in her Brooklyn apartment in 2007. Since then, she has created a full production and design studio in Manhattan’s garment district. The line is committed to sustainability and localized production. All gemstones and semiprecious stones are ethically sourced and almost all metal used is recycled. The entire jewelry-making process, from design to sampling to full scale production, is completed domestically with the majority of it done in-house.
The designer’s creations are deeply spiritual and intuitive. Heavily influenced by astronomy, astrology, alchemy, botany, the American Southwest and the architecture of her home, New York City (www.theotherfestival.co/).
This Pamela Love Crystal Cross necklace features smoky colored resin stones. All hardware is antique gold while the resin stones reflect a mix of turquoise and brown colors. These two elements give the necklace a very rustic vibe. The metal chain necklace closes with a lobster claw. A chunky looking necklace that is fairly lightweight. This necklace was an exclusive item for a US retailer. Made in USA. Retails $250 CAD.
